Praise the Lord everyone , I trust you are all doing well during this incredible time. I think all of our Nations are in various stages of LockDown as Governments try to cope with the Corona Virus.
Please stay safe and obey the government restrictions as good citizens of our Nations. Sometimes as Christians we try to go against the government believing they are trying to restrict us, but I believe our testimony should be that we are Good Citizens and set an example for others to follow.
Remember there are only two things that cannot be taken from us ,our Faith and our Testimony.
2 Timothy 2:10-13 “ therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory . This is a faithful saying:
For if we died with Him, we should also live with Him,
If we endure, we shall also reign with Him,
If we deny Him, He will also deny us ,
If we are faithless, He remains faithful, He cannot deny Himself .
And again the Apostles, Peter and John ;
Acts 4: 18-20 “So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all or teach in the name of Je-sus Christ. But Peter and John answered and said to them, “ whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than God , you judge. For we cannot but speak the things we have seen or heard.”
And again : Rev 12:11 “ and they overcame him by the Blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony, and did not love their loves to the death”
So let us be obedient to the Government instructions and allow the Lord to guide us through this season.
There is always a silver lining, and as we meet in smaller groups, in homes, having fellowship, communion, and bible studies together, this is causing us to develop more meaningful relationships with each other and with the Lord.
So let us adapt and continue to thank God every day for the Blessed Hope that in within us.
